The app cuts down on food waste, tracks nutrition, and finds affordable ingredients nearby, so people can save money without cutting corners on flavor.

Standard AI interfaces force users into a back-and-forth chat loop — clunky for recipes where you need to read, reference, and adjust simultaneously without losing context.
Developed Maki as an interactive guide throughout the experience, using personality and micro-interactions to make the AI feel human, trustworthy, and fun rather than transactional.
Designed a dual-panel layout: full recipe as a living document on the right, with Maki's assistant panel on the left for quick adjustments and nutrition — keeping context intact without rewriting from scratch.
